OneNote General settings

  1. In the OneNote ribbon, click File.

  1. On the left, click Options.

  1. In the General settings, customize your interface, default font, and personalize your copy of Microsoft Office with Background and Theme.

OneNote Sync settings

  1. In the OneNote ribbon, click File.

  1. On the left, click Options.

  1. In the Settings window, select Sync in the list on the left.

Word General settings

  1. In the Word ribbon, click File.

  1. In the General settings, customize your interface, personalize your copy of Microsoft Office, enable Office intelligent services, change start up options, and set your real-time collaboration preferences.

Word Quick Access Toolbar settings

  1. In the Word ribbon, click File.

  1. On the left, click Options.

  1. In the Settings windows, select Quick Access Toolbar in the list on the left.

  1. Add or remove commands from the Quick Access Toolbar by selecting them from the list, and then Add or Remove in the middle of the screen. You can add any command available in Word to the Quick Access Toolbar for faster access to the tools you use regularly.
  2. To revert to the default Quick Access Toolbar, click Reset in the bottom left corner of the window.
